Whahaha... there had been a fair bit of fun in the outing today. Firstly, We met at YCK MRT station and [aS uSuAl ] I was late. There was an improvement actually, I was late by 4 minutes I think. Let me figure out why I was late......
I woke up at 8.30 and lazed on the bed for a while, then bathe for about 30minutes [Ya I know, people are busy registering shock now]. Then I slow-motioned everything that happened and killed time until about 9.15. That was when the tragedy occurred, I got hooked on a book I borrowed from the library and only realised the time when it was 9.37. Great!!! I was supposed to meet them at 8.50 and i have 12 minutes to get to YCK station? What if the bus driver suddenly decides that he does not want to risk an accident and goes slow? But it arrived dutifully after a few minutes of waiting and that was how I got to YCK MRT station 4 minutes late [Zooms back]
We enjoyed badminton for 30 minutes before reality hit us that the boys had not arrived at the sports hall directly opposite the CC. It turned out they got the information wrong. Evona and I went there to fetch them, were cursing the boys vehemently on the way under the scotching sun. Wow! Great! What a great time to start the outing! It's a totally unexpected surprise - and a unwanted one too [-.-]. The guys were still trying to act clever on our way to the CC and went the long way instead of the short one. Evona and I had a world of a time waiting for them[Evona waiting with a sprained ankle]. Nevermind, the rest of the early part of the outing is not worth mentioning.
We arrived to Orchard and went our separate ways. I didn't go with Oiman and Christine because books that i can't buy do not interest me the least bit. So i tagged along with Wilson and Isaac. but apparently, Evona had a major [and a fast one ] mood swing and went to Takashimaya herself without any warning. Jerome took off after her. But when we got tired of waiting for Jerome [Apparently Evona didn't want to answer her phone] and were shaking our legs at Orange Julius, the two of them suddenly popped out from nowhere. Please bear in mind that I was savouring my Orange juice and playing the thief of Wilson/Isaac's nachos. Evona accused us of sending Jerome after her and invading her privacy as she wanted to buy something that was...private. I was forming the thought," What the heck?! We don't care where you want to go so long as you inform us first. We do not appreciate you snapping at us the moment you appear when we are just doing our part as friends[again, hao xin mei hao bao applies in this case]". Ok anyway, after every business was finished at the Orange Julius stand, we walked to Plaza Singapura. And boy! Was it far? Anyway, we got hooked on those Daytona machines in E-zone in the plaza. All of them [Wilson, Jerome,Kai Jie, Isaac and Evona] were really good at those machines! Argh, I was one of the last racers at most of time at Daytona and kept cursing when Evona[or anyone] crashed into my car. I must shut those mouths up as soon as possible. I better start tomorrow and stop sputtering the f-word during training.
When we got tired of playing, I called Oiman to ask her where they were and she sounded obviously pissed. I didn't dare to ask her about her trip and hung up as soon as I got my answer. Then I nearly got frozed by the Ice-kacang that I was eating and continued fooling around with the leftovers. Then it was home sweet home [for kj and yours truely only though]. Apparently Evona and Jerome thought that the day should not end so soon and went on to Heeren. Anyway, here I am, finishing this blog with a few resolutions. [Yea I know, it's not New Year yet, but nevermind]
1] Save for handphone and get my hands on that deng dai yi jiu de shou ji by....latest the end of next year.
2] I need to instill some discipline in myself.
3] I need money[ That can be counted a resolution can it?]
As you all can jolly well see, all my three resolutions has something to do with money. Now you can see how important money is important to me, especially next year.
~ Money isn't everything but there's nothing without money ~
p.s. Do I sound monotonous? As a matter of fact, i feel monotonous. I, hereby express my deepest apologies for boring the soul out of you guys. |
